The group BTS has achieved notable success on major weekly music charts both in South Korea and internationally with their fifth studio album, 'Arirang'.

Data from Hanteo Chart, released on the 30th, indicates that BTS's album 'Arirang' ranked first on the weekly world chart and album chart for the period from March 23 to 29. The album reached the chart's peak in the third week of March, only three days after its release on the 20th, and held this position for two consecutive weeks.

Billboard's preview article on the 30th reports that 'Arirang' has attained the top spot on the 'Billboard 200' chart (dated April 4). The album entered the chart with 641,000 album units, marking the highest weekly performance for a group album since unit tracking commenced in December 2014. Of these units, 532,000 were attributed to pure album sales, encompassing both physical and digital formats. This achievement represents a new record for the highest weekly sales of a group album in over a decade.

BTS also achieved significant metrics on global music charts. The group's 'Arirang' album led the weekly charts on Spotify, a global audio and streaming platform, for the period from March 20 to 26. This included rankings such as 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' on the global charts. The lead single 'SWIM' secured the number one spot on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global', with all 14 tracks from the album appearing in the top 30.

The track 'SWIM' remained at the top of Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for nine days (March 20-28) and seven days (March 23-29), respectively. Each track from the album was featured on the most recent chart lists for both platforms. Ten days post-release, not only the title track but all tracks continue to enjoy high levels of popularity, reflecting the support of international music enthusiasts.

BTS is scheduled to perform the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on April 9, 11, and 12. In addition, their tour will include stadium performances across South America in October, visiting countries such as Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 tour performances, encompassing those in Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have seen all tickets sold out in advance, highlighting the group's strong ticket-selling capacity.
